Best Budget phone 2017?

You may ask, what is the best phone to get under $300? Well, there are a lot of phones to get in that price range, but I think I have the best option for you.DSCF1164.jpg

Yes, the Moto G5 Plus brings a lot of features for the price point you are paying. It has a 5.2 inch LCD display with full HD. The processor inside is a very reliable Snapdragon 625 and is paired with either 2GB or 4GB of RAM. The battery is a 3000MAH, which is small compared to other flagships. But due to the relatively conservative hardware, this should be able to last a full day. The cameras are a 12MP sensor on the back which some have said that its the same sensor used in last years Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. For the selfie shooters it comes with a 5MP camera which should be fine for Snapchat and Instagram. moto-g5-plus-review-18.jpg

The design, while not the prettiest on the market, has an aluminum body, something you usually don’t see at this price point. It is hard to hate on the design since it does so much right in the spec department. One advantage of this budget phone, compared to the others on the market, is that it has bands for all 4 major carriers so people on Verizon wont be bummed. So lets talk prices: Well, you can get a version of the Moto G5 plus with ads on your lock screen from amazon for a significate price drop, and ads aren’t all that intrusive (plus you can even remove them with a different lock screen). So the Moto G5 plus 32GB with ads costs $180 and the 64GB variant costs $239. But if you just want the device with no ads from Best Buy, it will cost you $239 for the 32GB model and $299 for the 64GB model. Overall I think this device is the best budget phone so far in 2017 since it does so much right.
